Stray Thoughts

I graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Theater, performance. I now work for the same university; *not* in theater. I have also completed my Masters in Information Science from FSU, and am currently looking for a Librarian position in Gainesville.

I'm in my 30's and married. My hubby and I don't plan on having kids, but we do have 2 adorable cats, Abi and Sarah.

My husband is an instructor at Gainesville Institute of Self-Defense, and I am a member of the Gainesville Health and Fitness center. We both enjoy playing AD&D. I have my own website, and my husband runs the server and a household network.

I love to write, hang out with my friends, watch Anime, read manga, read other things (sci-fi and fantasy are predominant).

My current goals are to continue using my gym membership actively, editing one of my novels in 2008, maintain my website, maintain my sister's website, Throwing Pencils, for her webcomic Jack and Jill, and continue writing, and being actively involved in Gainesville Fiction Writers, and NaNo WriMo as a municipal liaison.

I love to learn, and travel. I've been to Europe three times, including Russia and Greece, and around the US. I've also been to Japan and China and Peru. My next trip takes me once again to Japan, and will be in October 2008.

I tend to spread myself too thin at times (though I am getting better about focusing my time on fewer hobbies), but I love to keep busy. Well, now you know the basics. <~grin~>
